The Mrida Foundation was born out of a profound commitment to eliminating social disparities and promoting sustainable development in India. Established on 6th March 2019 under the Indian Trust Act of 1882, the foundation embodies the values of equality, environmental stewardship, and community well-being.
                Our journey began with a mission to create a society where every individual—regardless of their background—has access to opportunities that ensure a meaningful and dignified life. The foundation’s name, “Mrida,” meaning soil or earth, symbolizes our focus on nurturing life, fostering growth, and cultivating sustainable change.

            Since its inception, the Mrida Foundation has focused on empowering communities, especially in rural and tribal areas, through natural farming, sound health initiatives, education, and promoting social businesses.
